Volunteer at the Green & Gold Garden
The Green & Gold Community Garden at the U of A South Campus is a community garden with both local and global benefits. They grow over 60 types of vegetables, herbs and flowers, using organic gardening practices. Their freshly picked produce is available during twice-weekly markets, with proceeds going to the Tubahumurize Association in Rwanda, a not-for-profit organization that supports socially and economically marginalized women.
